Mrs. Clancy taught my son last year when he was in second grade, and she was great working with him. Since he struggles in math and reading, Mrs. Clancy was always there to help him through with anything was he was struggling with. She spent individual time with him to help him better understand the problem he was attempting. She was very encouraging and patient with Ryan and kept in touch with me along the way letting me know his progress. Even in a group setting she was able to give Ryan her individual attention to help him further in his development. I would highly recommend Mrs. Clancy to anyone seeking her assistance in tutoring or teaching their children in an individual or group setting. She is a wonderful and caring person.
Ann is amazing! My son was struggling in math from what the teachers were telling me, but after Ann was able to evaluate my son she and I both realized that he had an issue with reading comprehension and rushing through the math problems! My son not only excelled in math but achieved "masters" in his reading STAAR test!!!
She is patient and kind! & very knowledgeable!!
She had STAAR test practice materials for my son:)
Ann has been tutoring my 3rd grader for two months and we’ve already seen improvements, not only in her grades but in her confidence as well. Ann is very experienced, kind, and patient. My daughter looks forward to her sessions. We are very happy and highly recommend her!
My grandson, Aaron, was Mrs. Clancy’s student in 2nd grade. Entering in 2nd grade he excelled at reading, but struggled with math. Mrs. Clancy encouraged Aaron to accomplish the expectations of 2nd grade. With her encouragement and math strategies Aaron was able to understand and solve the math equations.
Mrs. Clancy did more than teach him reading, math and science, she taught Aaron to believe in himself, that he could accomplish anything he focused on. Aaron was truly blessed having Mrs. Clancy as his teacher for 2nd grade.
For the past three years, I have worked with Ann Clancy as her teammate while teaching Second Grade. In those years, Ann has proven to be a teacher who constantly assesses her students, uses the information to drive her instruction, develops trust with her students, and holds high expectations. With her years of experience, Ann has countless strategies to use with students who are struggling to meet grade level standards. Not only is she knowledgeable, but she makes the learning engaging. One way she does this is by incorporating technology into her lessons. She also uses many visuals and emphasizes vocabulary that students need to acquire the academic content. It was a pleasure to work with Ann in the past, and I would not think twice about working with her again.
It is my sincerest pleasure to write this letter of reference for Ann Clancy. I was fortunate enough to have worked alongside Ann on the second grade team at Bluebonnet Elementary School from 2015 to 2017.
Ann is a deeply knowledgeable and respected educator who is passionate about cultivating excellence in each and every one of her students. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of observing and learning from her educational craft and skill. She knows her students well and is quick to make adjustments as needed to accommodate and support student success. Ann has the drive and commitment necessary to empower students to reach their full potential. I confidently give my highest recommendation to Ann. You will greatly benefit from her expertise and dedication. Please feel free to contact me at (*).
I would like to recommend Ann Clancy for the role of tutor. She and I worked together as 2nd grade teacher teammates during the 2016-2017 school year. I have yet to meet many teachers as dedicated and selfless as Ann
She managed to hold a high standard for her students, while helping them feel safe and at ease. I see some of her former students on a regular basis...they still talk about what a wonderful teacher she was.
I promise Ann will work hard to find and use methods/strategies that work best for your child. She had several students with unique needs and learning styles. She always did everything she could to meet their needs. I think of one student in particular; he entered her room unhappy and sometimes unwilling to learn. She quickly helped him gain confidence and a new found enthusiasm for school. You WILL NOT regret hiring Ann Clancy. Please contact me with any questions or concerns (*).
